The Department of Sociology in the college was established with the establishment of the college in 2014. Since its inception, the department has been conducting B.A classes at the undergraduate level. In addition to teaching students the curriculum prescribed by the university, the faculty of the department also place emphasis on studying the diversity and social characteristics of local groups. The aim of the department is to develop an understanding of sociological behavior in the students and to train them for the betterment of the society so that they can develop a sense of social and civic responsibilities. our mission is to provide the theoretical and practical knowledge to our students to participate as skilled professionals with the institutions and organizations that shape our diverse and global society.
