Objectives:
Community Outreach: NSS engages our students in various community development activities, creating opportunities for them to connect with the local community and understand its needs.

1- Social Awareness: NSS activities are designed to raise awareness about social issues, encouraging students to become socially conscious and proactive agents of change.

2- Impactful Initiatives:
Our NSS unit undertakes a myriad of initiatives, including:

Environmental Campaigns: Conducting tree-planting drives and awareness campaigns to promote environmental sustainability.

Educational Outreach: Collaborating with local schools to facilitate educational programs and support academic development.

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan: Contributing to the national cleanliness campaign by organizing cleanliness drives and promoting hygiene.

National Service Scheme in College

•  In 2016-17 Kumaun University, Nainital has established a NSS unit of 50 volunteers in this college. Right Now 1 units of 100 volunteers exist in the college.
• The college is an examination centre for B and C certificates for examinees of both polytechnic and this college.
• The NSS unit of the college has already organized two seven days special camps in nearby villages during the last two years.
